Customize Your Golf Cart: Start with Tires and Wheels
You may be one of those guys who didn’t get to soup up your Camero or Mustang, so you want to make that golf cart as jazzy as you can. There are a lot of things that can be done to a golf cart from the ground up to accomplish your goal.
First off, you can install a lift kit, allowing you to use a bigger wheel and tire, and thus giving the cart a “bigger” look. After the lift kit, you will want to pick a set of fancy wheels and bigger tires with tread made for the use you plan for your golf cart. A top favorite wheel among our staff is the black P-Series by Wheelmate coupled with a low profile tire—it’s clean, stylish, and unique. Of course, there are tons more to choose from, including gold accented wheels and seriously heavy duty tires.
If you go with sometime more heavy duty, please remember that those sand paddles will get you out of the sand trap with no trouble… but the course manager will probably ban you from the course for life when you run that tread on the fairway!
